Holiday Shops 2021

Holiday Shops at University School of Milwaukee has wrapped up its 45th year, with activities and prizes that appealed to the entire community. Organized by USM’s Parents’ Association and run 100% by volunteers, Holiday Shops transforms the USM campus into a wonderland of shopping and features stores and vendors from around the country.

This year, events included a private shopping event on Nov. 3; a school-wide Week of Winning raffle event complete with a carnival theme; and an online auction featuring a wide array of unique items and experiences. These events were in addition to the three days of shopping open to the wider community.

Proceeds raised during Holiday Shops, including 15% of all vendor sales, are used to enrich the educational experience of all of students. Allocations are awarded in the areas of teacher and staff development, technology, health and physical education, cultural education, music, and the arts, to name a few.

Many thanks to Holiday Shops coordinator Mia Moe, student raffle co-chairs Juliana Elejalde and Liza Sadoff ’99, and all of the volunteers who help make the event possible.
