Poet Charles Waters Visits 5th Grade
Fifth grade students at University School of Milwaukee enjoyed a special guest on Wednesday, May 18: poet Charles Waters, who conducted poetry workshops with the students throughout the day. Waters is the co-author of "Can I Touch Your Hair" and "Dictionary for a Better World," plus the newly released "African Town," all co-authored with Irene Latham. Many thanks to the Parents' Association for sponsoring his visit.
