Falcats Softball, a co-op team with Brown Deer High School (Falcons) and University School of Milwaukee (Wildcats), has completed its inaugural season, finishing in 3rd place in the Woodland East conference. The Division 1 team included three USM students: Laine Bolton ’21, Grace Lord ’21, and Abbie Stigler ’22. All three earned accolades from the Woodland East conference for their work this season. Stigler was named All-conference Player of the Year; Bolton was named to the 2nd team All-conference; and Lord earned an honorable mention.

“This is the first year that the girls have played together and I’m really proud of what they have accomplished and how they came together as a team,” said Chris Miller, the team’s head coach. “I’m excited to get started on next season and to see this co-op continue for years to come.”
