University School of Milwaukee hosted its second speaker series of the 2022–23 school year through its partnership with REDgen on Wednesday, Jan. 18. The event featured a presentation from Dr. Jill Walsh titled “Adolescents and Their Social Media Narratives: A Digital Coming of Age.” She also presented to Middle School and Upper School students at USM during an assembly on Thursday, Jan. 19. Walsh explored how social media impacts a teenagers’ personal development.

The USM/REDgen Speaker Series is a partnership between University School of Milwaukee and REDgen, a Milwaukee-based organization which fosters active community conversations around what it means to live a healthy, balanced life with authentic success.
