Celebrating Nature Through Art
Please stop in the Werner Family Art Gallery at University School of Milwaukee to view nature through the eyes of a 7th grade student. This exhibition touches on all aspects of nature, from the beauty of a sunset to the aftereffects of a hurricane. A gallery opening was held for the families of the 7th grade students on Friday, Jan. 6, and the show runs through Jan. 26.
“I am so impressed with the sophisticated ideas our students displayed,” said Sarah Markwald, Middle School art teacher. “They should be proud of the high level of creativity and craftsmanship they displayed in their work.”
