Florentine Opera Visits USM
Performers from Milwaukee’s Florentine Opera visited Lower School students at University School of Milwaukee on Thursday, May 23. They presented a reduced version of “The Child and the Enchantments” to young audiences as part of their Opera in Schools Tour, which brings a fully costumed and staged children’s opera to schools, libraries, and other organizations. Students loved the colorful costumes, comical acting, and of course, the spectacular singing.
