Middle School Students Present “Into the Woods”
University School of Milwaukee’s Middle School theatre students are thrilled to present the musical “Into the Woods.” Based on the 1987 musical with music and lyrics by Stephen Sondheim and book by James Lapine, the production intertwines the plots of several Brothers Grimm fairy tales, including “Little Red Riding Hood,” “Jack and the Beanstalk,” and “Cinderella,” among others.
It is directed by Katie Gonring, Middle School drama teacher, and will be performed tonight, Friday, Nov. 17 at 7 p.m., and Saturday, Nov. 18 at 2 p.m., following the opening night performance held on Thursday, Nov. 16. Tickets are $12, available at the door or online.
