USM Holds Class of 2024 Commencement

University School of Milwaukee celebrated its Class of 2024 graduates with its Commencement ceremony on Friday, June 7. “Students of the class of 2024, you are the embodiment of our mission,” said USM’s head of school, Steve Hancock. “You will leave our school and be a reflection of USM to all who meet you. We firmly hope and trust that you will embody the fundamental values of respect, trust, honesty, fairness, and kindness. These core values should not only serve as a reliable foundation for your character but also as a scaffold upon which you can construct a purposeful life.”

The Class of 2024 consists of 93 students, 26 of who are lifers (students who have attended USM since 1st grade or earlier). Of the graduates, 91% will attend their first- or second-choice school. In addition to Hancock, graduates heard from Anjali George ’24, valedictorian, and Tom Florsheim ’76, who gave the Commencement address.
