Area Librarians Convene at USM
University School of Milwaukee librarians Dolores Brown (Preschool and Lower School), Laura Klein (Upper School), and Ivana Renteria (Middle School) hosted the Southeastern Wisconsin Library Media Specialist meeting on Nov. 22. More than 20 librarians from around southeastern Wisconsin visited USM to attend the meeting in the Middle School library. Discussions covered a variety of topics, from author visits to book bans, challenges with AI, and plagiarism.
“We were excited to host this group,” said Renteria. “Developing connections within Milwaukee is one of our main goals in all three libraries at USM, and we feel this is a great way to start building those connections.”
