More than 200 University School of Milwaukee alumni returned to campus on June 20 and 21 to celebrate the annual Reunion Weekend. Events included the Summer Soirée cocktail party on Friday, June 20, followed by the Joe Lubar ’08 alumni baseball game, campus tours, and a cookout in the school’s front circle on Saturday, June 24. Sarah LaBudde Wolffe '80 traveled the furthest for Reunion Weekend, traversing over 3,500 miles to attend, all the way from Edinburgh, Scotland. In addition, Anwar Floyd Prewitt '95 and William Darling '92 both exhibited artwork in the school's first-ever Alumni Art Show in USM's Werner Family Art Gallery.
Marina Spheeris Krejci '68 received the Alumni Service Award, while Lindsay Stevens '89 received the Alumni Impact Award. They were honored for their longstanding volunteer and leadership efforts, as well as their commitment and support of both USM and the greater Milwaukee community.
“It was a beautiful weekend to celebrate our alumni and welcome them back to campus,” said Will Piper ’96, assistant director of alumni relations and reunion giving. “Alumni had a great time reminiscing with their classmates and catching up with beloved former teachers. We hope to see everyone back next year for Reunion Weekend 2026!”
