Sarah Pearson Named Girls’ Varsity Hockey Head Coach

Sarah Pearson has been named the varsity head coach for University School of Milwaukee’s Wildcats girls’ hockey co-op team. Pearson played four years of varsity hockey at Concordia University Wisconsin, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in sport and entertainment business. She also serves as the athletic operations coordinator at USM, where she oversees all aspects of daily operations for USM athletic events. 

Pearson has a long background in competitive hockey, having played for 18 years. She is very familiar with girls’ hockey in Wisconsin as she was a member of the Hayward, Wisconsin co-op girls’ hockey team and won a state championship and finished as a state runner-up during her time there. She continued her hockey career at Concordia University Wisconsin, where she served as assistant captain of the team.  She has also been involved in coaching various girls’ hockey teams, and has had the opportunity to work with a number of the USM program’s current players.

Pearson also coached the USM girls’ lacrosse teams in the spring of 2024, serving as the junior varsity head coach and a varsity assistant coach for the state runner-up team.
