Congratulations to all of the University School of Milwaukee student artists listed below, whose work has been chosen by a variety of institutions for public display and inclusion in an online gallery. 

Art of Resilience Event

Held at the St. Kate Hotel in downtown Milwaukee, the Art of Resilience Event was hosted by REDgen. The ticketed event, which sold out, was intended to raise money for REDgen and also celebrate art and resilience. The following students had work on display at the event: Aida El-Haijar ’27, Sophie Kouklin ’29, Nikhil Lazzaro ’26, Stella Nicoli ’27, Tess Oplinger ’30, Sara Staples ’25, and Lee Wine ’25.

Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction’s 2024-25 Selected Student Artwork

Artwork by Lauren Abele ’28, Jamie Brennan ’32, Liam Darling ’30, Aida El-Hajjar ’27, Alex Grassl ’31, Clare Holton ’27, Annabelle Miller ’32, Maddie Maguire ’27, Beckett Stratton ’25, and Emma Wu ’30 has been selected for the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction’s statewide online gallery! 

All 10 entries from USM were selected by a panel of educators and consultants for the online exhibition. It is a tremendous honor to have these students’ creativity and hard work recognized at the state level.

Racine Art Museum's PEEPS® Exhibition

Three talented student artists from the 8th Grade Art Club—Ayike Asiki ’29, Sonja Klos ’29, and Sophie Kouklin ’29—were able to exhibit their work in the 16th Annual PEEPS® Brand Art Exhibition at the Racine Art Museum. This unique, family-friendly show features imaginative artworks crafted from or inspired by PEEPS® marshmallow candy.
