The University School of Milwaukee Parents' Association concluded its Week of Winning with a raffle pull on Monday, Nov. 4. Week of Winning is an extension of Holiday Shops, where students in Preschool, Lower School, and Middle School are able to purchase raffle tickets for their chance to win a wide variety of items. This year’s prizes included an iPhone 16, a Home Alone LEGO set, squishmallows, and much more.
Michael Tauscher, head of Preschool and Lower School, donated the chance for a lucky winner to be division head for the day. Elaine Griffin, head of Middle School, offered up the chance to “Rule the School,” with the winning student earning an out-of-uniform day with no homework, along with a pizza party lunch with no assigned seating and other perks, for their grade level Reagan Anderson ’34 won for the Preschool and Lower School, and Tristan Mull ’29 won on behalf of the 8th grade for the Middle School.
In total, 3,544 raffle tickets were sold, earning $12,193 in ticket sales in support of USM. Many thanks to those who donated items for the raffle, and helped to bring our community together in a fun and exciting way.
In addition, many thanks to the Week of Winning co-chairs Rachel Roberts and Carlie Venditti, whose volunteer efforts made the event possible.
