Boys Tennis Competes at State

The University School of Milwaukee doubles team of Will Merluzzi-Hitler ’26 and Deven Sharma ’27 competed at the WIAA state individual tennis tournament at Nielsen Stadium in Madison, Wisconsin. They reached the third round in the Division 1 doubles tournament, competing against a team from Madison West.

Merluzzi and Sharma lost the opening set in a 7-6 (4) tiebreaker, then rallied to even the match with a 6-4 victory in the second set. However, their championship dreams were dashed when they lost 14-12 in an exciting tiebreaker.
