Celebrating Homecoming 2025

University School of Milwaukee students enjoyed a week of spirit-building activities and athletic events during the annual Homecoming celebration. 

The week kicked off on Saturday, Sept. 27 with the Wildcat Homecoming Jamboree, where students of all ages gathered on campus to cheer on Middle School athletic teams while enjoying spirited activities like a fun run, bounce houses, a dunk tank, face painting, and more. The Jamboree was hosted by USM’s Parents’ Association and Wildcats Booster Club.

During the week, students enjoyed a variety of Homecoming activities, including spirit wear days, athletic events, and a cross-divisional sign decorating activity, where Upper School students visited Lower School friends to decorate spirit signs for the all-school pep rally and athletic events.

The all-school pep rally on Friday, Oct. 3 provided ample entertainment and included class cheers, a generational dance-off amongst faculty and staff, a golf cart parade, relay races, and a Middle School tug-of-war competition. A variety of boys and girls athletics events happened throughout the week, and on Friday night, the varsity football team put up a valiant effort against Racine St. Catherine’s. The game concluded with fireworks hosted by the USM Wildcats Booster Club. Prior to the football game, students, families, faculty, staff, and alumni were invited to an all-school cookout.
