Elaine Griffin Named CSEE Visiting Scholar

Congratulations to Elaine Griffin, head of Middle School at University School of Milwaukee, who has been named a Council for Spiritual and Ethical Education (CSEE) Visiting Scholar for the 2026–27 school year.

Griffin received this national honor in recognition of her research, writing, and presentations focused on belonging and neurodiversity in education. As part of the CSEE Visiting Scholars program, she will share ways schools can design learning environments where every student feels seen, valued, and supported.

“This is a huge honor from a highly regarded institution that supports independent schools,” said Amy Hand, assistant head of school. “Elaine is a thought leader in our community, and we are thrilled that she has received this recognition.”
