Middle School Hosts STEM Night

Middle School Hosts STEM Night

Middle School faculty and administrators at University School of Milwaukee hosted a STEM Night on Wednesday, April 15, which was open to students and families in that division.

Families were able to learn more about the extracurricular opportunities in STEM (science, technology, engineering, and math) that are offered to Middle School students. Those opportunities include the Middle School math team, Middle School robotics, and eco society. STEM Night attendees could speak to students involved, and even test out what it’s like to operate one of the robots built by the Upper School robotics team.

The evening also covered STEM opportunities available in the Upper School, including the US math club, Independent Science Research, Kramlich Innovation Distinction program, and Upper School robotics, that Middle School students can pursue as they move from 8th to 9th grade.
