The Parents’ Association at University School of Milwaukee held a special event on Wednesday, May 27 to recognize this year’s Star Contributor Award winners. These individuals, plus countless others who contribute their time and talent throughout the school year, make it possible for the PA to host a variety of events that support teachers and students at USM. From Holiday Shops to author visits, the book fair, and Global Enrichment Fest, these events are the result of countless hours from hundreds of volunteers.
"Our volunteers are the lifeblood of the Parents' Association, and make everything that we do to support the school possible," said Kiki Miller, Parents' Association president. "Every year, we are so fortunate to have a strong group of volunteers, and there are always those within that group who have consistently gone above and beyond over the years. It is always exciting for us to be able to honor that group with our Star Contributor Awards, and let them know that their service is so very appreciated."
