“Peter Pan” Actors Meet With 3rd Grade

Third grade students at University School of Milwaukee had the chance to meet three actors from the First Stage production of “Peter Pan and Wendy”: Luke Drope ’32, Annabelle Lantz ’30, and Harold Wagner ’32.

After seeing the production for a field trip on March 3, 3rd grade students had questions about the audition and rehearsal process, juggling school with weeknight and weekend performances, and more. Christopher Vance, Preschool and kindergarten music teacher and Lower School drama teacher, coordinated a Q&A session, held on March 9, with the actors and 3rd grade students. Third grade classes identified questions prior to the meeting.

“We all loved “Peter Pan” and it was great to see familiar faces up on the stage,” said Vance. “Being able to hear directly from Luke, Annabelle, and Harold about their experiences was really exciting for our 3rd graders.”
