University School of Milwaukee celebrated its Class of 2026 graduates with its Commencement ceremony on Saturday, May 30. “I look forward to hearing your stories,” said USM’s head of school, Steve Hancock. “Stories of how you take what you have learned here and use it to live lives of purpose; lives of noble deeds. The world is waiting. Not for what you will get but for what you will give. Class of 2026, go live a life of noble deeds.”
The Class of 2026 consists of 111 students, 38 of who are lifers (students who have attended USM since 1st grade or earlier). Of the graduates, 94% will attend their first- or second-choice school. In addition to Hancock, graduates heard from Angela Wang ’26, valedictorian, and Susan Zarwell ’87, who gave the Commencement address.
