USM Presents "Once Upon a Mattress"

Upper School theatre students at University School of Milwaukee are proud to present "Once Upon a Mattress." The musical is a humorous and family-friendly retelling of "The Princess and the Pea," and is appropriate for all ages. The run time is approximately 120 minutes.

“There is a distinct pleasure observing young adults step into their own spotlight and realize and exercise the power of their voice in a manner that only live theatre may accomplish,” wrote Mark Edwards, Upper School drama teacher and musical director. The program is further assisted by many USM teachers, including Christopher Vance, Andi Franklin, Taylor Adams, and Stephanie Hancock, as well as many parent volunteers and students.

The performance will be staged at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 26; 7 p.m. on both Friday, Feb. 27 and Saturday, Feb. 28; and 2 p.m. on Sunday, March 1. Tickets are $20/adult or $15/student, available at the door or online at www.usm.org/mattress.
