First Career Lunch and Learn Highlights Careers in Marketing

Upper School students at University School of Milwaukee were invited to attend the first career lunch and learn program of the school year, where students have the opportunity to dine with leaders and industry experts to learn more about specific fields of employment.

This career lunch and learn, held on Friday, Sept. 25, featured Jamie Evans, a marketing leader whose career includes roles with Dyson, Bang & Olufsen, Kohler, Harley-Davidson, and Mercury Marine, and who now serves as chief marketing officer of Brunswick Boat Group (Boston Whaler, Sea Ray, Bayliner, Lund).

Evans spoke to students about her career path, shared her educational backgrounds and the various avenues she took that led her to where she is today, and answered questions from students.

Additional lunch and learn events are being planned for later this school year, and all Upper School students are invited to attend.

Many thanks to USM’s Internship and Shadowing committee and Parents’ Association for assistance with planning and scheduling. Any individuals interested in speaking at future events should contact internship@usm.org for more information.
