Global Scholars

University School of Milwaukee is committed to developing a sense of global citizenship in all students, and the Global Scholars program is the centerpiece of this commitment. The Global Scholars program offers juniors and seniors the opportunity to develop and extend their interests in international issues, with prescribed curriculum focused on world language, history, culture, and economics though a combination of coursework, service, reading, travel, and lectures. Each year, students in the Global Scholars program participate in a Crisis Simulation, during which student teams must grapple with authentic global problems and real-world issues through role playing exercises and research. Students who complete the Global Scholars program earn a transcript distinction upon graduating.
