
The First Robotics Challenge (FRC) is the most involved and competitive level of robotics offered at USM which is offered for anyone between the ages of 14 and 18 and is offered for any skill level. The teams are tasked with building industrial-sized robots in order to complete various tasks in each competition which teaches participants important STEM skills along the way such as problem-solving, mechanical skills, and computer-aided design (CAD) skills. Teams are also needed to gain sponsors for their teams.
