Bruce '81 and Jennifer Lee Community Room Opens

The Bruce and Jennifer Lee Community Room was dedicated at a ribbon-cutting ceremony in September. Located adjacent to the Darrow Family Welcome Center, the room features collaborative workspaces, coffee-and-conversation areas, and flexible seating for large gatherings. It’s a place where parents and other community members can mingle, meet with teachers, exchange ideas, and form meaningful connections that last beyond pick up and drop off.

Bruce Lee ’81 currently serves as a member of USM’s Alumni Association Board and the Our Common Bond campaign cabinet, and works as the managing director, Private Banking and Investment Group at Merrill Lynch in Chicago where he lives. He credits his one-year experience at USM (his senior year) as a pivotal year in his educational journey and believes the intimate parent-teacher-student interaction sets USM apart. The new space helps to foster the strength of the School community, and USM is grateful for the Lee family’s generous contribution.
