2017 National Merit Semifinalists

Four USM seniors were named semifinalists in the 2018 National Merit Scholarship Competition. Congratulations to Savannah Miracle, Nabeel Quryshi, Sophie Kobylinski, and Jonah Baade.

These students earned the opportunity to advance to the finalist level of the competition to compete for some 7,500 scholarships worth more than $32 million. Winners are chosen based on academic records, SAT scores, extracurricular and leadership experiences, and essays.
