USM Presents: Oklahoma!

The Middle School Players proudly presented “Oklahoma!” May 10–12, the long-time favorite musical that covers themes and topics still relevant to today. “As I directed the piece, I challenged the students to think about the idea of control over something or someone versus the idea of tolerance,” said Middle School Drama Teacher Mark Edwards. “Throughout the process, we also tried to approach the piece as a musical comedy.”
