Annually, the USM Alumni Association presents awards to recognize and commend outstanding alumni who demonstrate exceptional contributions of time and effort, strong loyalty, and personal commitment to the advancement of the school. Through their commitment and service, these individuals have achieved significant successes and made outstanding contributions in community involvement, thereby bringing honor to themselves and to the school. Our alumni have an incredible tradition of achievement, service, and integrity, and these awards are our way of recognizing their achievement.
Alumni Service Award
The Alumni Service Award was created in 1984. The award is given to an alumnus/a by the University School of Milwaukee Alumni Association board in grateful recognition of achievements in working toward the betterment of USM and the community which it serves. The award is given annually during the Summer Soiree cocktail party during Reunion Weekend.
Alumni Key Award
In 2007, the Alumni Key Award was created to honor new graduates of University School of Milwaukee who demonstrate the qualities necessary to provide leadership to his/her community. Nominated by peers and faculty for outstanding character and exceptional school record, the candidates for the Alumni Key Award are exemplary models of a USM alumnae/alumnus. Each year, the award is granted to one female student and one male student of the senior class and is presented by the Alumni Association board president at the Upper School honors assembly.
