Salute to Service
University School of Milwaukee has a long tradition of service to community and country. For generations, many alumni from USM and its predecessor schools have served in the United States armed forces, bravely dedicating themselves to defending our nation and freedom. We are truly proud of these man and women of our school community and would like to pay tribute to their service.
In the spring of 2024, USM unveiled a monument to military service on campus, which was a gift from the USM Class of 2024 and their families. This space was designed to honor all members of our USM community, past and present, who have served in our nation's armed forces.
In addition, we would like to relaunch our Salute to Service program which began in 2019. To better enable us to recognize our veterans, we are collecting information about alumni who have served in the armed forces for inclusion in a service recognition program. We invite all alumni of USM and our predecessor schools who previously served, or are actively serving, to complete the form below to be included in the program and in our Alumni Veteran Registry*. We know some of our veterans are no longer with us, and we encourage you to share those names as well. It is our goal to recognize and honor all alumni veterans from all eras of our school's history.
*Any information provided to the service recognition program and alumni veteran registry will remain confidential. The purpose of collecting this information is to enable the Alumni Association to honor and recognize the service of our alumni veterans. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact our Alumni office.
