Junior Wildcats Tackle Football
Join our strong, supportive community while learning how to play tackle football safely and competitively. The new Jr. Wildcats Tackle Football program is open to all students entering 7th and 8th grade. Both current USM students and those from surrounding communities are welcome and invited to play.
Our program teaches safe, rugby-style tackling with an emphasis on teamwork, sportsmanship, discipline, and fostering a love for the game. We play in the Greater Milwaukee Metro Youth Football League, which is a competitive league comprised of smaller organizations.
Registration
The special introductory registration fee of $150 (waived for current USM students*) for the upcoming first season of the Jr. Wildcats program includes all uniforms, helmets, pads, Guardian Caps, and other equipment. All issued equipment will be returned to USM at the end of the season.
What Makes Us Different?
Players will utilize USM's state-of-the-art facilities, including turf fields and access to the school's fitness center. USM takes player safety seriously, providing certified safety equipment, including Guardian Caps, with an athletic trainer on site. All coaches are certified in CPR and first aid.
This program is an expansion of USM's former Middle School tackle football program, and features enhancements like new and returning coaches and additional safety equipment. Learn more about what makes the Jr. Wildcats program different on our FAQ page.
