"Our son James really loved the Middle School football program at USM and describes it as tons of fun with teammates you really get to know. It was a completely positive experience from our end, too. It helped that he had Coach Rob Melick, who had already been his hockey coach for a few years, so James knew that even though he had very little experience playing football, he'd be well supported as he learned the game. James came home from the first summer practice dedicated to learning all the plays in the playbook binder and getting better every practice. The coaching staff was kind and caring and took safety very seriously. It helped him meet new people and challenge himself in new ways."
