Global Enrichment Festival
The Global Enrichment Festival is an annual, day-long festival celebrating cultural diversity and global citizenship at USM. Hosted by the Parents' Association, the festival features a global village of educational and interactive cultural booths, a performance stage where students and visiting artists can perform their native songs and dances, and global cuisine throughout the week for lunch. If you have questions, or want to get involved, please contact the Parents' Association.
Global Village
During the Global Enrichment Festival, the Middle School and Upper School gyms are transformed into a United Nations village with country booths and displays featuring cultural traditions, information about each nation, hands-on activities, and displays of student projects and artwork.
Global Cuisine
Students enjoy a variety of ethnic cuisines and global bites expertly prepared and served by HandCut Foods during lunch. It is a one-of-a-kind opportunity for students to indulge in culinary pleasures and broaden their palette, bringing a savory twist to the exuberant festivities of the Global Enrichment Festival.
Global Stage
Showcasing global music and dance is a way that the festival helps celebrate the cultural diversity within USM and around the globe. Students, families, and outside groups perform throughout the day and share their incredible global talents with our community.
