Global Enrichment Festival

The Global Enrichment Festival is a full-day event that celebrates the many cultures represented in our community and encourages students to see themselves as part of a global, interconnected world. In partnership with USM, the Parents' Association hosts the festival featuring a vibrant showcase of family cultural expressions—the countries, traditions, stories, arts, and practices that shape who we are as a community.

Celebrating Cultures: Out of Many We are One

Students will explore an interactive Global Village, enjoy performances featuring students, families, and visiting artists, and experience global cuisine. This year's festival will take place on Monday, Mar. 9, 2026 from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. If you have questions or would like to get involved, please contact the Parents' Association.

Global Village

Explore the Global Village, where the USM gyms come alive with interactive booths created by USM families. Booths that represent a particular country or broader culture will highlight cultural expressions—such as music, dance, storytelling, language, games, attire, or art—reflecting the identity, creativity, and traditions of our community.

Global Cuisine

Students enjoy a variety of global bites expertly prepared and served by HandCut Foods. It is a one-of-a-kind opportunity for students to indulge in culinary pleasures and deepen their understanding of the connection between culture and food. Bringing a savory twist ot the exuberant festivities of the Global Enrichment Festival.

Global Stage

Showcasing global performative arts is a way that the festival helps celebrate the cultural diversity within USM and around the world. Students, families, and visiting artists perform throughout the day and share their incredible global talents with our community.
