After School Program

We are happy to provide after school care for Lower School students, as well as Preschool and Middle School students. Families have the flexibility to choose between weekly care or drop-in care options. Students are grouped by age level, as staffing and space allow.

Lower School students begin their after school day in the Lower School and Middle School dining room to enjoy a snack from home before heading outside to play. Once the sunset or cold gets the best of them, they move inside to enjoy time in the gym, crafts, board games, or quiet time. Once in a while, Lower School students will enjoy a movie together.

Staffing

Students are supervised and cared for by a core group of adults and college-aged staff, many of whom are interested in education, and supported by USM Upper School students. The staff members are delighted to work with your children and tailor after school activities to fit their interests.
