Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, our plans for before- and after-school care have changed for the 2021-22 school year. These new plans and procedures have been developed to offer as much flexibility as possible for working parents (and others with obligations at the start and end of the school day), while ensuring a safe environment for children and teachers.
Before-school programming will be suspended for the 2021-22 school year, and parents/caregivers will be asked to follow the car circle drop-off procedures established by their children's respective divisions.
We will continue to provide support to families by offering after-school programming for students in prekindergarten through 8th grade for the 2021-2022 school year. While all parents will be strongly encouraged to pick up their children at the end of the regular school day, a modified program will provide space for children to remain after regular hours until a parent or caregiver can pick them up. This year, families can choose between registering by week (a flat rate, regardless of number of days attended) or daily drop in care. Students will be grouped together by grade to the best of our abilities, as staffing and space use allows. More information, including rates and policies, can be found on our registration website.
For additional information, including program fees, please view our policies and information document.
