USM Summer Camps

For more than 30 years, families across the greater Milwaukee area have trusted USM Summer Camps as the ultimate destination for exceptional enrichment, academic, and athletic programs. At USM Summer Camps, children have the opportunity to discover new talents, build lasting friendships, and dive into a wide range of interests, all within a flexible schedule that lets them create a personalized summer experience. Guided by our dedicated faculty and staff, families return each year with confidence, knowing their children will enjoy a memorable and enriching summer.

This year, we're thrilled to introduce an expanded 2025 USM Summer Camps lineup, featuring two exciting new camps—Explorer Camp and Theatre Camp—each thoughtfully designed to inspire, engage, and spark curiosity. We invite you to explore our updated offerings and see what makes this year's program more exciting than ever!

Discovery Camp

Discovery Camp is for PK-K campers. It includes a varied, but structured, schedule with a lead teacher and assistant. Full-day campers will enjoy lunch followed by rest time and afternoon enrichment activities.

Explorers Camp

The new Explorers Camp, for children entering grades 1-4, offers an assortment of hands-on activities, from outdoor adventures to arts and crafts, sports, and science, for children who want to try a variety of experiences. Each week is thoughtfully structured around a unique theme. All are interactive and enriching, and foster confidence, social skills, and independence.

Adventure Camp

Adventure Camp, for children entering grades 1-4, is designed for campers who want to pursue a specific interest. In the morning, campers will choose between two 70-minute classes or one 140-minute class. In the afternoons, activities and trips to unique Milwaukee destinations foster community building.

Odyssey Camp

Odyssey Camp, for children entering grades 5-8, engages middle school-aged campers in workshops that empower and inspire. Whether it's 3D printing, culinary skills, sports, or art classes, campers are guaranteed to experience a wide range of engaging activities.

Theatre Camp

The new Theatre Camp, for children entering grades 2-9, provides a supportive environment for campers to explore and express themselves through various theatre disciplines. Campers participate in hour-long classes to build confidence and creativity, culminating in a final showcase for friends and family.

Skating Camp

Skating Camp is designed for all levels, no ice-skating experience necessary. Beat the heat and learn how to ice skate at the same time. Activities include games, mazes, snowball toss, ice art, strength and conditioning, skills, and drills.

Choose the option that is best for your family!

We are excited to once again offer families flexible options throughout the summer, including the full summer (9 weeks), extended session (6 weeks), mini session (3 weeks), or weekly registration.

Lunch and Snacks Included!

For all full-day campers, lunch is included with your registration at no additional cost! Meals will be prepared by USM's food service provider, HandCut Foods, and families will be asked to provide any allergy or dietary restriction information upon registration. Snacks will also be provided to full- and half-day campers.

Families can choose to send their child with a packed lunch and/or snacks from home. Please note that USM is a nut-free facility. Any outside food should not contain nut products; be sure to check labels carefully.

Bundle Weeks and Save!

Families still have the option to choose individual weeks of camp for their child, but we are excited to now also offer families the opportunity to bundle weeks and save! Discounted pricing is available for the following:

  • 6-week Extended Sessions
  • 3-week Sessions
  • Multi-session discounts are available

Ride the Bus to Camp!

Transportation is available with morning pick-up and afternoon drop-off options in Grafton/Cedarburg, Mequon/Thiensville, Shorewood/Whitefish Bay, and downtown Milwaukee. Families can choose round-trip or one-way transportation service for their child. USM owns and operates its own van and bus fleet, with buses driven by dedicated and experienced USM employees.
