Hiring Process

Hiring for USM Summer Camps happens on a rolling basis throughout spring until all positions are filled. Summer staff are selected after a thorough and thoughtful process that includes.

1. Application

2. Interview

Applicants will first complete an introductory interview through Willo, an online platform. After the online interview, and submission of a completed application, individuals will be invited to participated in a second, in-person interview.

3. Reference Checks

Applicants should submit personal and professional references from an employer and/or school who can attest to their qualifications and character.

4. Background Checks

We will conduct a BIB Wisconsin State Background check as well as check the national FBI fingerprint database.

Staff FAQ

Employees must be eligible to legally work in the United States. If hired, Form I-9 (Employment Eligibility Verification) must be completed at the start of employment.
